Amaro Nonino Quintessentia is an all-natural Italian herbal liqueur produced by Nonino Distillatori in Percoto, in the Friuli-Venezia Giulia region of northeastern Italy, and bottled at 35% ABV. Built on the family's grape-distillate base aged in small oak barriques, it is infused with a botanical recipe including gentian, saffron, licorice, rhubarb, sweet and bitter orange, tamarind, quassia bark and more. The result is a bittersweet amaro with notes of orange, honey, vanilla and licorice, floral and citrusy up front and gently bitter on the finish.
