The whisky is first matured in American white oak ex-bourbon barrels, which build the house style of chocolate, orange and spice, then finished in sherry casks that combine the nutty character of aged Oloroso with the sweet influence of Pedro Ximenez. Expect caramelised orange, ginger and sultanas laced with honey, a velvety palate of fig, date, dark chocolate and baking spice, and a long, smooth finish.
