It is matured in a combination of European and American oak casks, both seasoned with sherry in Jerez de la Frontera, Spain. The pairing gives the whisky its signature character: aromas of fudge, candied orange and lemon with vanilla and soft spice, a palate of milk-chocolate raisins and creamy toffee balanced by orange peel and gentle spice, and a medium finish of sweet oak.
