Matured in a combination of ex-bourbon and ex-sherry casks across American and European oak, it is named after the small No.1 still central to Mortlach's distinctive 2.81 distillation. The nose offers honey, dried orchard fruit, spice, raisins, cocoa and cinnamon; the palate brings toffee, dried fruit, vanilla, cocoa and buttery nuts, leading to a medium finish of malt, orchard fruit and spice.
